Katimavik 30th Anniversary

May 24th 2008
Katimavik's 30th Anniversary was a lot of fun we first helped the dump out by cleaning up the garbage that got blown out of the dump that day when it was a very strong wind. We were out side from 12:30pm - 4:00pm and everyone got a bit sun burnt not extremely bad. Afterwards we had a bqq at Terry's place and then Helena invited Blake, Kayla, Michela, Ezgi, and me to go in the hot tub it was a lot of fun. Blake was the only guy in the hot tub with us girls (Helena was also in the hot tub) and it was also Blakes first time in a swim suit since i don't know when. I really enjoyed the day.
The dog that Terry owns is a very cute little dog and he has bone cancer but he is 14years old. He is going to have to be put down soon dont know when.
I am house manager this week. Tonight we are going to be having French Onion soup but instead of beef stock i am putting vegetable stock because Kayla and Heidi are vegetarian.

May 19

I am enjoying my 72 hour off.
on friday Blake's mom and her friend Terry came up to marathon to visit
Blake and then On Saturday they invited me to go with them to A&W and then we wanted to see a movie and found out it was closed or not operating until they found someone
new to take over so we drove toward the mill area and we saw a bowling ally
and thought we would go there and found out it was closed and the SAAN was
closed too!! So I went back to the house and watched Little mermaid with Kayla and Mishela.

May 10

Saturday was the MHS ( marathon high school) dance and it was very good i wish that i had taken pictures but i was to busy dancing (or at least trying to dance) Blake did not show up until 9:00pm because he was coming back from Thunder Bay. I was waiting while at the same time dancing and then when i turned my head i saw him but did not recognized him right away becuase he had gotten his hair cut and he was dressed up. He look really good and so did I. We danced to a lot of songs some were the YMCA You're Beautiful and etc...
I have only 12 days left of the school because i am house manager that week for a week. Then our Rotation camp is on the 9th to the 10th of June. On June 11th is when we go to Chicoutimi.

May 3

I went to Pic River for a house concert that we were invited too. I went with my billet dad. i really enjoyed the music one of the songs that one of the guys sang was called phone in my pant The story behind that was he was playing a song and his cell phone was in is pocket and all of sudden it went off and he could hear it becuase the micophone was right by the pocket that his cell phone was in. it was funny.
